about

Hearts and Rockets is the theme song for the band Hearts and Rockets. When a wedding band threatened them with legal action to change from their previous name, Heat Wave, the duo decided to take the name of one of their newest songs - Hearts and Rockets. That day Hearts and Rockets, the band, was born. How many times would you like us to say Hearts and Rockets?

To celebrate the shedding of skins, they've decided to release the song that is now their namesake - download it for free here, or pay what you feel.

lyrics

Found myself broken hearted
Didn’t know what to do
Don’t know when it started
But I know it started with you

Got Hearts and Rockets

Ended up back where I started
Didn’t know what to do
Things are better now we’re parted
Things are better without you

Got Hearts and Rockets

Found myself broken hearted
Didn’t know what to do
Don’t know when it started
But I know it started with you

Got Hearts and Rockets

Hearts and Records write, record, perform and live on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. Sovereignty of this land was never ceded, and a treaty has never been signed. We stand in solidarity with the true custodians of this land, and pay our respects to their elders both past and present. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
